Project Overview
Our Erasmus+ project spans 24 months and aims to advance gender equality in early childhood education. By providing comprehensive training and resources, we strive to create inclusive learning environments where both girls and boys feel empowered to explore their identities and challenge traditional gender norms.
Objectives
We have set clear, measurable goals to guide our work. First, we aim to raise awareness by training at least 60% of teachers from our partner institutions on gender-equal educational practices. We also plan to enhance the professional skills of educators, aiming for a 20% improvement in their ability to address gender issues with children aged 3-6. Additionally, we will empower children to develop critical thinking skills, helping them question and overcome social norms that perpetuate gender inequality.

Educational Resources: A core component of our project is the creation of high-quality educational materials. These resources will include guidebooks, lesson plans, games, and family-oriented activities, all designed to promote gender equality in early learning settings. Our resources will be adaptable and shared widely to ensure their long-term impact, benefiting teachers and children across the EU.
Expected Outcomes: Our project seeks to make a lasting difference. We aim for institutional change, with partner kindergartens adopting gender-inclusive practices at a systemic level. Teachers will gain valuable skills and confidence to address gender issues effectively, while children will be nurtured to develop mutual respect and an appreciation for equality. Finally, by making our resources publicly available, we ensure that our work has a sustainable and far-reaching impact beyond the project duration.
Mobility Activities
Our project will feature four dynamic mobility events, each designed to advance gender equality in early childhood education and empower our target groups through practical, engaging, and innovative workshops.
1- Be Inclusive, Be Equal – Gender Equality Workshop (Belgium)
A hands-on workshop focusing on best practices in promoting gender equality in educational settings. Participants will engage in activities designed to break down gender stereotypes and build inclusive teaching strategies.
2- Educational Package Workshop (Spain)
This workshop will guide participants in creating comprehensive educational packages on gender equality, including lesson plans, family activities, and teacher resources. The session will emphasize practical applications for kindergartens
3- Creative Digital Gender-Sensitive Labs (France)
Participants will explore the use of digital tools to develop gender-sensitive educational content. This lab will foster creativity and provide innovative strategies to integrate gender equality into digital learning environments.
4- How to Make It Better Workshop (Türkiye)
A practical, solutions-driven workshop aimed at refining and improving gender equality initiatives. Participants will collaborate on strategies to enhance project outcomes and ensure sustainable impact.
5- Virtual Info Day (Spain)
An online event dedicated to sharing insights, best practices, and project results. It will provide a platform for broader engagement, reaching a wider audience and promoting the project's mission.
